Use a wireless chest strap with a signal around 5Khz to measure your heart rate and transmit it to the rowing machine. Use the Row 1000's storage compartment to keep your phone or a water bottle handy while rowing.

The Kinomap app gives you a highly realistic live experience of existing and self-selected routes. There are training videos with different levels of difficulty. Try to keep up with the target speed of the video or use the multiplayer mode to have races with your friends. On your screen you can see how far you are in your video and what distance you have left to cover. Kinomap also easily links you to your favorite training apps, such as Strava and Runkeeper.
