With the unique design of the VirtuFit Water Compact Resistance Row 800 rowing trainer, the water tank is placed under the seat making the rowing trainer a lot more compact. The raised seat of this strong construction sits 50 cm off the ground. This is higher than most other rowing trainers, making it easier to get on and off. The seat itself is extra large and comfortable which is good for a firm and pleasant sitting position. The rowing trainer glides smoothly on the rail with ball bearings. The rail is 105 cm long, making it suitable for people up to 2 meters tall. Every rowing stroke you put your feet against the footrests with heel support. Adjustable foot straps and non-slip pedals keep your feet firmly in place.
Clear display
The display of the Row 800 tracks time, number of rowing strokes, distance, calorie burn, heart rate and an overview scan where the computer alternately shows all data. The display is adjustable at an angle so you can always get a good view of your workout, even if you are taller or smaller than average. You measure your heart rate with a wireless chest strap with a 5 kHz signal. The heart rate receiver is integrated in the rowing machine, the chest strap itself is optional.
Row 800 water resistance
As with other water resistance rowing trainers, the resistance of the VirtuFit Water Resistance Compact Row 800 is generated by paddles moving in the water tank. As you row faster, you move more water and the resistance gets higher. Just like a real rowing boat, doubling your speed takes a lot more effort on your part. This gives you lots of room to make your exercise heavier or lighter. Rowing with a full water tank can be compared to rowing in a heavy boat. At slow speed this is not so heavy, but at higher speed strength starts to play a big role. The Row 800 has 8 indicator levels to indicate the resistance of the filled water tank, but of course you can fill the tank to another level if you feel more comfortable.
Patented blades
The Row 800 features new patented plastic vanes, which generate extra-large resistance. Thanks to the large cross section and multi-paddles, there is more contact with the water than with traditional water sprayers. This not only creates more resistance, but it also reduces vibration and therefore contributes to a realistic and smooth rowing experience.
The water tank
With this rowing trainer you get 4 "purification tabs." These are chlorine tablets to keep the water clean and transparent. These tablets prevent green deposits on the edges of the tank and prevent the accumulation of bacteria that can cause an undesirable odor.
Space-saving rowing trainer

This rowing trainer can be set upright in its entirety, so the rowing trainer is never in the way.
