These pedals are made for intensive use and are finished in great detail. These SPD Duo pedals fit any bicycle and spin bike with a connection for a 14 mm pedal. The toe-clip side has a solid plastic "cage" to keep your foot in place. When your foot is in toe-clip, you tighten it with the foot strap on the end. This principle allows you to not only push on the pedals, but also pull on the pedals.

On the SPD side, you'll find the familiar click system. On top of a cycling shoe is a metal plate which you can click into it. If you are clicked, you don't just push, but you also pull. SPD gives you much more freedom and you can easily unclip your foot by turning your heel.
