Design
Appearance
The Perform X2i by Flow Fitness is finished in black, with small blue details. This gives the crosstrainer a tough and sleek look to your interior or a professional look to your training room. The flywheel of this crosstrainer is attached to the back, so it also takes up less space than a crosstrainer with a flywheel on the front.
Handles
With your hands, you grip the two outer, slightly curved handles during your workout. This allows you to make large movements with your arms and thus burn even more calories. You can also choose to rest your hands on the two inner handles. Here you will also find the contact sensors that track your heart rate and quick keys for easy navigation.
Pedals
The X2i Crosstrainer has pedals with non-slip coating for a safe workout. The pedals are adjustable to 3 different positions.
Your workout on the X2i
A workout on this crosstrainer of Flow Fitness is entirely up to you. Choose from no less than 24 different programs, including heart rate controlled programs. These programs adjust themselves completely to your personal heart rate. You measure your heart rate by placing your hands on the contact sensors in the handles or by using a Bluetooth chest strap.
Going for a manual program? Then you choose the desired resistance yourself. The Perform X2i has an electromagnetic resistance system with 69 different levels of resistance. You set these resistance levels in increments of 5 watts, with the minimum resistance being 10 watts and the maximum resistance 350 watts.
More variation with Bluetooth
Because the Flow Fitness X2i has a Bluetooth receiver, you can easily connect it to the desired training apps. Among others, iConsole and Kinomap are compatible with the X2i. These apps give you a unique training experience with lifelike routes and overviews of your workouts.
User-friendly LCD display
During your workout on the cross trainer, you keep track of all your performance through the LCD display. This backlit display gives you insight into the following data: time, speed, RPM, distance, watts, calories and heart rate. In addition, the console features a convenient tablet holder and a USB port to charge your tablet or smartphone.
Move along with Kinomap
The Kinomap app gives you a highly realistic live experience of existing and self-selected routes. Resistance is automatically increased when you go uphill and decreased when you go downhill. There are training videos with different levels of difficulty. Try to keep up with the video's target speed or use the multiplayer mode to have races with your friends. On your screen you can see how far you are in your video and what distance you still have to cover. Kinomap also easily links you to your favorite training apps, such as Strava and Runkeeper. This way you record all your workouts in one overview.
To use Kinomap
Android devices require at least version 5.0. For iOS, at least version 9.0 is required.
Note:
Kinomap is free to use for the first 7 days, after that you can take out a paid subscription.
